Role Description

The Measurement and Insights, Directorruns themSix Analytics team for EA. EA are a truly global client and there is a huge opportunity to drive a long-term strategy with EA, as well as executing award winning campaigns across this ambitious, customer focused brand. The role requires someone who is organised, can help own projects across specialist groups, and who will drive communication across the global network.

Partnership is in our DNA, and this role works in lockstep with the EA team, developing planning outputs and improving processes. As a global role you will be responsible for driving the focus and projects that deliver on the four key pillars that underpin our partnership with EA.

What will be your responsibilities?

Primary responsibilities revolve around leading direct reports to develop and execute industry-leading measurement strategies and analytics thinking:

  • Connect client business goals to marketing objectives, and translate those objectives into a measurement plan and learning agenda for use by planning and activation teams
  • Oversee schedule, integration and usage of econometrics models as a core tool for measuring effectiveness across the globe
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to establish process and ownership of core Analyticsdeliverables
  • Oversee building of mSix test and learn framework alongside biddable and strategic planning teams – ensuring it pushes us towards the clients key business objectives and questions
  • Support strategic planning teams and ensure fully optimized media plans and richly developed and supported campaign strategies
  • Develop and maintain all client relationships and use foresight to build and provide value to client teams
  • Effectively articulate the applications of media research tools and resources
  • Provide direct reports with all the necessary tools, training, and analytical support and supervision to improve upon existing expertise
  • Build and strengthen relationships internally across the network and externally with client partners
  • Write POVs on industry topics impacting your clients
  • Support new business pitches across mSix

Who are you?

  • 8 years’ commercial experience in an analyticsleadership role, with background in econometrics and other marketing analytics toolsneeded
  • Experience managing a small-to-midsize team (3-7 reports) across borders
  • Built test and learn frameworks – and understands how to use experimentation to improve media outputs
  • Intellectually flexible with strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams and across partner agencies
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
  • Expert knowledge of the metrics which power successful media campaigns, where they are sourced, and how they influence and intersect each other.
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience with Python and/or R or other analytics programming environment
  • Familiaritywith the following a plus:

Data Visualization: Tableau, Omniscope, PowerBI, Datorama

Web Analytics: Omniture, Google Analytics, Webtrends

Ad Servers: DoubleClick, MediaMind, PointRoll, Atlas

Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen, Compete

Media Impact Measurement:Kantar, Dynata, Nielsen

  • Moving the needle: are the insights we provide helping mSix and our clients make better decisions that lead to better results?

  • Client satisfaction: Contributing to good levels of client (internal and external) satisfaction in project outcomes
  • Delivery of measurable impact driven by analytics as result of measurement plans and learning agendas
  • Becoming the lead clients’ go to person to answer their most important business questions

 The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
